Just heard that Mike Graul has passed. Passionate, smart, funny, technically excellent geophysicist. SEG obit below, but it does not touch what a great guy he was. Pity those who did not overlap enough with him to see his beautiful seismic art, a fine example is shown below. You see AI art/science all the time and think 'that is not bad', then you see a Graul and realize the AI is amateur hour. Mike was all about art and science before it was cool. His wonderful wife introduced us to Casimento's, our favorite New Orleans food joint. Mike you are one-of-a-kind and will be missed: 1934-2026 RIP.
