As I expected, the C19 death numbers have been low for several days in a kind of extended weekend reporting effect associated with Christmas holidays. Today we get one full reporting point and it shows record C19 deaths for AR, US and world. I expect more deterioration from next Tuesday on as we move out of the New Years holiday that will act like a long weekend with respect to C19 reporting. Interesting the US C19 death data shows a well-developed notch associated with thanksgiving and we are likely building a similar Christmas notch. The thanksgiving notch is a false signal only associated with reporting not the actual number of daily deaths.
