C19 Update -- Record Breaker

We have four daily records today (yellow arrows): 1) AR cases 1962, 2) US cases 143231, 3) World deaths 12241, 4) World cases 666K. Not a record, but quite alarming, is the US daily death total of 2005, the highest in six months.

Over 2000 deaths in one day in the US due to C19. Let's put that in perspective. In a very bad year the seasonal flu kills 80K in the US over a flu season lasting at least 4 months. The math reveals about 650 deaths per day for a terrible seasonal flu year, but far short of the 2005 C19 deaths we had yesterday. Batten down the hatches and expect a rough ride ahead.
