Blatantly inspired by the Financial Times worm plot of C19 deaths (link) I thought it might be easier to understand the data trends by reflecting the 7 day average and total plot lines across the horizontal axis and filling between with color. Turned out pretty good I think. Definitely more clean, less busy since daily points are not shown. Your thoughts?
By request, here are the Sweden worm plots. Sweden, you may recall, had a different strategy from most of the world. Sweden must be doing something right, their death worm looks like the inverse of Arkansas.
